Who we are
Compass Bonaire is operated by PBC B.V., registered in Bonaire (Chamber of Commerce no. 15269). We offer sailing experiences departing from Plaza Resort Marina, Kralendijk. For all privacy matters you can reach us at bookings@bonaireyachtcharters.com.
What data we collect
- Booking details — name, e-mail address, phone number, party size and preferred date, provided when you reserve a sail or contact us.
- Payment data — processed by our payment and booking providers; we do not store card numbers ourselves.
- Website data — basic technical data (browser, device, pages visited) where analytics are used.
Why we use it
We use your data solely to handle reservations, communicate about your sail (confirmations, weather changes), meet legal and tax obligations, and — only if you ask us to — keep you informed about future sailings. We never sell personal data.
Sharing
Data is shared only with service providers needed to complete your booking (such as our booking and payment platform) and where the law requires it. Providers process data under their own privacy safeguards.
Retention
Booking records are kept as long as required for tax and administrative purposes; correspondence is removed when no longer needed.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by e-mailing bookings@bonaireyachtcharters.com. You may also object to or restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
